From project brief to lighting plan and proposal
The first step was a workflow where relevant information can be accessed without constantly moving between systems. The AI architecture explored connections between CRM data, internal tools and product information, with MCP as the layer for accessing and structuring that information. From there, the flow runs from architect’s drawing to CRM data, product and spec lookup, lighting plan, 3D render and proposal. AI and automation handle the preparation and repetitive steps. The specialist adjusts the output where experience and judgement are required, then reviews and sends the proposal instead of assembling every element manually.
AI access to the wider commerce picture
The AI layer can also extend beyond individual projects. The workshop explored how data from Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo and Google Search Console could be brought together through a shared commerce data layer, with Commerce365 as the central place for that data. A question such as “Why did last week’s sales drop?” then moves from a manual reporting exercise to something AI can analyse across multiple data sources. AI is not only helping with operational workflows. It also makes the information behind the business easier to understand and act on.
