Challenge - Crafting an immersive fan experience

Creating a digital experience that matches the electrifying atmosphere of the UEFA Champions League final was no small undertaking. Heineken’s vision was to offer fans a memorable and interactive way to participate in the event, going beyond traditional viewing experiences.

Our goal was to create a platform where every detail reflected the excitement and prestige of the tournament, turning fans into active participants in a global celebration.

Approach - Integrating your interaction

Collaborating closely with Heineken, UEFA, and One:Nil, we built a custom platform that brought fans into the heart of the action. This partnership allowed us to capture the essence of the Champions League, providing an innovative and engaging platform. For the first time ever, Heineken invited thousands of real hardcore fans to submit their photos,

which were transformed into confetti pieces to be showered over the crowd during the final match. This unique interactive feature not only enhances fan engagement but also creates a lasting connection with the Heineken brand. The confetti, which featured fans’ images, was a world-first initiative, celebrating the supporters’ dedication and passion.

Thousands of fans saw their photos turned into confetti, creating a connection between their passion and the event. As described by Heineken, “This initiative is our way of saying thank you to the fans who make football the greatest game in the world.
